Filling the Sky Book

Filling the Sky, published in 2003, details the history of the modern constellations - those that were created in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries (the classical constellations are only briefly mentioned). This website is based on the Filling the Sky book. Much of the book's contents can be found in the download files located on the 'Constellation Downloads' and 'Who's Who' pages. Those wishing to pursue the study of the modern constellations in greater depth may find the 74 bibliography entries and almost 200 reference citations in the book a useful tool.
